The shunt thickness determines current-stabilising performance. The primary operates in the unsaturated magnetic region and the secondary in the saturated region; this is a purpose-designed leakage-flux/leakage-inductance transformer."

        "Developed for prolonged industrial duty where conventional microwave transformers may overheat or require frequent replacement. Uses quality copper wire, Chinese silicon-steel laminations, automated pressure-welding and CNC winding.",
        "To reduce the temperature rise associated with the saturating magnetic design, the brochure specifies Class H silicon-powder varnish and vacuum impregnation. It describes lower heating, vibration and noise, and a service-life claim of 6–9 times that of an ordinary transformer; this is a brochure claim without comparative test data on this page. It describes compatibility with magnetrons from Panasonic, Samsung and other manufacturers."
