Switching, control and protection
The KYN28 family is used for medium-voltage distribution duties, including switching, control and protection. The configuration can incorporate circuit breakers, earthing switches and instrument transformers.
Cabinet and withdrawable unit
A fixed cabinet works with a withdrawable truck or functional unit. Defined service and test positions, together with mechanical interlocking, form part of the operating arrangement.
Application areas
Typical installations include substations, generating facilities and industrial distribution systems. The required functional units and operating ratings should be confirmed for the project.
